Development Tool Kit: Zilog Standalone Programmer (ZUSBZSP0100ZACG)

The Zilog Standalone Programmer (ZSP) USB dongle is used for production programming or field-updating an application in Flash memory on Zilog’s S3 and Z8 Encore family of microcontrollers. Target Programming can be performed manually at the touch of a button on the ZSP, or automatically by an external programmer through the ZSP external controller interface.

 

The Target firmware is pre-loaded into the Zilog Standalone Programmer (ZSP) from a PC via USB using the ZSP configuration program.

Optional Hardware

 

The ZSP can be powered by a PC with USB port or wall power supply capable of supplying 5V at 200mA. Using a USB wall adapter allows the ZSP to program targets in standalone mode.
