Hi Jack,

ZDSII has simulator.

Go to Project > Project Settings > Debugger > Debug Tool Current.
Click the drop down menu to select SIMULATOR.

Please check attached image.

What ZDSII version you have and what MCU family are you using?

I finally got time to install the Zilog software for the development kit(s). But it looks as though there's no facilities for simulation, you have to have the target connected to run anything... is this correct or did I miss something? Right now, most of what I would do is simulation, connecting an actual target only increases the chance of damage (trust me, if it's gonna get damaged, this is when...)

The Sample Center is managed separately
from Zilog's Customer Support services,
and therefore requires a separate login.
Acknowledged! Take me to the Sample Center.
Disable this pop-up in the future.
