2.5µs A/D converter with a time stamp, an op amp, and multiple communication
engines, Z8 Encore! MC™ are the best microcontrollers in the market for

The Crimzon™ZLP12840 OTP MCU is the newest member of ZiLOG’s family of
microcontrollers intended for use in applications requiring infrared
transmission capability. Based on the famous Z8 core, this new family of
microcontrollers includes, but is not limited to 1KB random access memory (RAM),
up to 128KB of one-time programmable (OTP) memory, and a built-in learning
amplifier, which provides for bill of material cost reductions. When paired with
ZiLOG’s new ZLP1280ICE01ZEM In-Circuit Emulator (ICE), development is easier and
less expensive, allowing you to take your IR application from design to
implementation in the shortest time and with the lowest cost possible.

The ZNEO Z16F CPU instruction set has been optimized for near single-cycle instructions yielding up to 20 MIPS at 20MHz. Combined with large zero wait state internal Flash, powerful math functions, 32-bit ALU supporting 8-, 16-, and 32-bit operations, embedded 32x32 multiply/64x32 divide operations, and 16-bit bus widths and external 16-bit bus, the ZNEO Z16F delivers a powerful, yet cost effective microcontroller solution. The compiler-friendly instruction set supports multibyte push/pop framer pointer manipulation so that code generation is very compact. The ZGP323H/L and ZGR163L/323L are OTP- and ROM-based members of ZiLOG's new Z8
GP™ MCU family of general-purpose microcontrollers. Offering 237 bytes of
general-purpose RAM and up to 32KB of OTP memory, ZiLOG's Z8 GP MCU family
provides support for standard, extended, and automotive temperature ranges. The
low-voltage series supports voltage ranges from 2.0V to 3.6V, making it perfect
for low-power applications. The high-voltage series supports voltage ranges from
2.0V to 5.5V. Both series offer fast-executing memory use, high GPIO,
sophisticated interrupts, input/output bit manipulation, automated pulse
generation/reception, and internal key-scan pull-up resistors.
