Zilog’s Crimzon RC Blaster™ Version 1.1 is a complete universal remote control system on a chip which is ready to be integrated to any embedded system. This total turn key solution allows system such as set-top boxes, digital video recorders (DVRs), DVD recorders, video network streaming devices, media center hubs, PC add-on card applications to control the home entertainment devices.
RC Blaster™ contains a comprehensive infrared database supporting the North American TV, DVD player, VCR players, satellite, cable, audio devices and European satellite and cable. In addition, RC Blaster™ includes the Zilog proven IR learning solution. It allows user to learn and duplicate the infrared signal of their remote controls. Zilog has integrated the complete universal
remote control system on a chip. This simple solution allows you to dedicate your engineering resources to other tasks and leaves the database work to Zilog.
