Using ZDS II debugger with just a .lod file 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Following on from the problem with the C pre-processor and workaround for that (using GCC's pre-processor)

I have code being built with the tools (compiler, linker) from the ZDS II for ZNEO version 5.0.1 being driven by GNU Make scripts, generating a .hex and a .lod file.

I have found that it is possible to coerce the ZDS II IDE into allowing the .hex file to be uploaded onto the devkit () without having to create a "project" for each and every program.

What would be really useful would be to run the debugger, letting it use the .lod file to find the original source files - does anyone know if that is possible without creating a "project" for each program?

If not, does anyone have any good ways of creating (minimal) "projects" to keep the IDE happy whilst still letting me continue to use Make to drive the actual build?
